Sub zero Buell!
Buell have just announced that their resident stunt rider Craig Jones has set a new world record for the fastest motorcycle in ice aboard a nitrous-injected Buell® 1125R™ motorcycle. He reached an amazing 238Km/h (148.7mph) over a run of 1.1.km on a frozen Lake Dellen in Sweden
The Buell was fitted with a nitrous injection system boosting power by an estimated extra 50bhp. The tyres were specially adapted with protruding spikes (20mm on rear and 15mm on front) designed to increase grip on the ice surface.
Ride safe.
